In development of the project "Regulatory update on content: citizen participation and protection and defense of the viewer" the Audiovisual Content Session of the CRC publishes the closing document that includes the main conclusions resulting from the analysis carried out on the participation mechanisms citizenship and protection and defense of viewers, as well as the perception that they have regarding the responsibility of the operators regarding the programming on the television service.
The conclusions document, which is based on analyzes carried out by the CRC through a study carried out with the Centro Nacional de Consultoría – CNC- During the fourth quarter of 2022, it shows an executive summary of the perception of the mechanisms of participation and rights of the viewer in Colombia, using as input surveys with national representation, which were carried out with Colombian households as the unit of analysis.
The study included conducting surveys in 1,602 Colombian households (1,178 by telephone and 424 in person) in rural and urban areas of 45 municipalities. The sampling error associated with the indicators of results in television users is 2.5% and a 95% confidence level.
